What is a Computrainer?
It’s a premier indoor bike trainer with a precision ergometer measuring power wattage, heart rate and cadence. With the use of software, such as PerfPro and ZWIFT, we can simulate riding on a huge variety of courses – hilly, flat and downhill(!).
What are Computraining Classes?
They are coached cycling workouts performed on Computrainers. Coaches use the metrics provided by the Computrainer and software to accurately measure your fitness gains all the while improving your riding skills as you power through an enriched, fun, training experience.
Toguri Training Systems WEST is owned and operated by Michelle Paiement, a coach who for more than a decade has helped cyclists of all levels achieve their goals–from preparing for charity rides to winning Provincial titles.
A former Elite racer, Michelle is a two-time Masters National Road Race Champion. Her passion for the sport is reflected in her desire to share knowledge of technique, physiology, nutrition and current training regimes.
Workouts are designed by Scott Toguri McFarlane. Clients begin by building a proper base of aerobic fitness, strength and technique relative to their needs; and then progress to more targeted workouts aimed at developing power and speed. Scott is the founder and owner of Toguri Training Systems and of Floyd’s Pro Cycling (formerly Silber Pro Cycling) one of North America’s top continental teams.
